WORKBOOK for The Ephesians 5:22 Wife and The Ephesians 5:25 Husband
$15.99
Marriage is a lifelong choice and not a temporary one. It requires much commitment and dedication. I often say couples must go into marriage with their “eyes wide open” and their “knowledge gaps about each other filled,” meaning they should not discover things about each other after marriage that are so egregious they negatively impact the marriage. Time must be spent saying, “I need to know you,” before a couple says, “I do” for life. They must know the good, the bad, and the ugly about each other before they tie the marital “knot!” However, quite often, a couple is so in love that they don’t take the time to do “discovery” about each other to ensure that they are right and compatible together (physically, emotionally, spiritually). The result of this lack of discovery is usually a miserable marriage that likely ends in divorce.
This workbook brings the two companion books, “The Ephesians 5:22 Wife” and “The Ephesians 5:25 Husband,” to life and allows couples to discover more about each other. It asks each partner to answer questions about themselves and their perspectives on marriage. It also requires them to work through difficult scenarios together, including hypothetical issues that can occur in a marriage.
Of course, no couple going into marriage can predict everything that might occur. However, the questions and hypothetical scenarios draw on information from the chapters of the two books and ask the couple to assume these are real situations and treat them as such to find a hypothetical solution.
This workbook can be used
- by couples who are getting ready for marriage.
- by couples who are already married.
- in a group setting as a study on Christian marital relationships.
- to augment marital counseling sessions.
Please do not use this workbook if you have not read the two companion books, as the workbook is completely based on them.
May God bless your marriage in every way!
